Naples parent upset about school district over fast-food & fundraising
NAPLES, Fla. - A parent who has two children in Collier County public schools is expressing dissatisfaction about a fundraising effort held at local fast-food restaurants.
According to the parent, the event encourages parents and kids to eat at Chic-fil-A on a certain day as part of a fundraiser and as a result - the child will get a homework pass.
The parent believes that the district should not issue homework passes for kids in exchange for eating fast-food.
