3 arrested in Port Charlotte armed robbery
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Two adult teenagers and a juvenile were arrested in connection with an armed robbery that happened on November 13 in Port Charlotte on Catherine Avenue.
Charlotte County detectives arrested the trio for robbing two teenage boys. One of the victims was struck in the head with a gun. The robbers ended up walking away with nothing because their victims weren't carrying any money.
Charged are 19-year-old Christopher Vontrell Bing, 18-year-old Brad Marlon Percival and a 17-year-old juvenile.
The trio were arrested last Friday. Bing was charged with robbery. Percival and the juvenile, who both used guns, face charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. All three are in custody.
