Teen killed in North Fort Myers motorcycle crash

NORTH FORT MYERS - Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a late night fatal crash on Bayshore Road.
Eastbound lanes of Bayshore near Euclid Avenue were shut down for a few hours over night as officials removed debris from the road.
Troopers say a car hit two motorcycles after attempting to make a left hand turn in front of it.
The driver of the motorcycle, 19 year old Joseph Tyler Simpkins of North Fort Myers, was killed after being thrown from the bike.
A passenger on a second bike suffered minor injuries.
Charges are pending this morning.
