New charge added against Port Charlotte bank robbery suspect

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - Charlotte County detectives added a new charge against a Port Charlotte man already charged in the November 1st robbery of a Sun Trust Bank in Murdock.
51-year-old Robin Patrick Conte is now charged with the October 18th armed robbery of the Asian Cai Lay Market.
Investigators tracked Conte to a Tampa area hospital and arrested him for the Sun Trust hold up. Upon his release he was arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail where is remains in jail on no bond.
