Fort Myers man arrested for exposing himself to children
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police arrested a 29-year-old man after he exposed himself to a group of young children in the 2300 block of Carrell Road.
Jose Cortes-Mejia was arrested for having an open container and exposing his sexual organs.
According to witnesses Cortes-Mejia appeared drunk when he began urinating in front of the children.
He asked the kids to come over to him and offered one of the girls $20.
When police arrived, they found Cortes-Mejia walking down the street with a half full bottle of beer.
