Two dead in motorcycle crash
GLADES COUNTY - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that happened on SR-78 near the intersection of US-27 on Sunday afternoon. Two people died in that crash.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle carrying the two victims did not stop at an intersection and slammed into the back of another motorcycle.
The man on that motorcycle suffered minor injuries.
The motorcycle carrying the two victims ran through a stop sign at US-27 and was hit by a car.
They were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics with Glades County EMS.
The driver and passenger of the car, Diana Marie Schiell and Wendell Carl Schiell, both suffered minor injuries.
The names of the deceased victims have not yet been released.
