CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Black Friday is starting on Thanksgiving night this year.

Walmart announcing they'll be opening stores at 8:00 p.m. Thanksgiving night, offering deep discounts on electronics, DVDs and home goods.

Kmart and Sears announcing they'll also be opening on Thanksgiving night.

Analysts say more than 80-percent of people shop before December.

Some major retailers have bucked the trend though. Nordstrom's for example, says it will let customers and employees celebrate Thanksgiving before they put up the Christmas merchandise.
