Grow house busted in Cape Coral
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A marijuana grow house busted in the garage of a Cape Coral home.
"[There were] like tons of swat police dressed in camel and everything with guns drawn like fully automated rifles," said Manny Clause, 15, who lives two houses down.
Manny watched police invade the house on Northeast 23rd Street in disbelief.
"I was really surprised, i always thought there was something going on," added Manny.
Frank Wilson, who lives next door, also watched the scene unfold.
"There's a SWAT team with the van sitting here, SWAT team raiding the house, they had the back surrounded," demonstrated Wilson.
Police arrested the man who lives there but haven't released his identity. Children also lived here.
"The mom and the dad were in handcuffs and they had two little boys in handcuffs," said Wilson.
Neighbors say it's terrible illegal activity was happening feet from their homes.
"It's pretty concerning, i don't know if they have lots of illegal guns or other stuff they can be doing," said Manny.
They're now worried about their safety.
"Especially when you got two kids, it's just scary,"
