BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- A positive sign for Southwest Florida tonight, more Americans are signing contracts to buy homes.The nation's leading luxury home builder is taking advantage of the turn around. Toll Brothers hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in Bonita Springs on Thursday afternoon at its newest luxury community called "Bonita Lakes.
Those in the real estate industry say they're seeing more optimism when it comes to buying homes.
"Everyone knows the last few years have been rough on the building industry, but the past 2 years we've seen sales up like most of the nation has and we felt it was a great time to invest in the area,
this community," said Kevin Brown, Senior Project Manager.
Bonita Lakes is the newest luxury community in Southwest Florida. Home prices range from the low $300,000s to the $500,000s.
The community on Imperial Parkway in Bonita Springs will host a grand-opening this weekend on Saturday(10am-6pm) and Sunday(11am-6pm).
Pending home sales in Naples are also looking good. Overall sales jumped 12% while inventory continues to decrease, according to Naples Area Board of Realtors.
