Fort Myers police stop burglary in progress
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police responding to a burglary in progress call at Le Barr Equipment caught two thieves as they ran to get away.
Police arrested 19-year-old Matthew Mangham and 21-year-old Montez James for burglary, grand theft and resisting without violence.
Officers responding to the call quickly set up a perimeter and used a K-9 to track the suspect. One officer found James hiding in a culvert. The dog then tracked down Mangham hiding under a trailer.
