4 injured in motorcyle/bike crash in Lehigh Acres
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - A crash involving a motorcycle and two bicycles in Lehigh Acres sent four people to the hospital Sunday evening. The three bicyclists are already out of the hospital. The motorcyclist is also expected to recover.
Lee County deputies were dispatched to the scene in the area of 18th Street SW and Gretchen Avenue to investigate a collision between two bikes and a non-street legal motorcycle.
Deputies say the driver of the motorcycle, 21-year-old Julian Lewis of Fort Myers, hit both bicycles, injuring himself and three juveniles.
The injured bike riders were identified as 15-year-old Carl Monix, 10-year-old Quaman Monix and 13-year-old Casco Monix, all of Lehigh Acres.
