Home invasion investigation called off
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.---No one was injured after a home invasion robbery Wednesday night in Bonita Springs.
Around 9:00PM Wednesday the Lee County Sheriff’s office received a report of a home invasion robbery on the 4000 block of Springs Lane in Bonita Springs.
The victim had just returned home from work when two suspects dressed in black forced their way into the home and left with an undisclosed amount of currency before fleeing the scene.
After a short investigation, the victim decided not to press charges and the Sheriff's Office is no longer searching for any suspect in the case.
