2 Injured in early morning robbery
BONITA SPRINGS - One person has been shot and taken to the hospital after a robbery in Bonita Springs.
Another person suffered a laceration to their head. Both injuries are non-life-threatening.
A call was placed to the Lee County Sheriffs office about 3:14 Wednesday morning about a robbery in the 26000 block of London Lane.
The Sheriffs Office is still investigating, but they believe it is an isolated incident. It is being classified as a home invasion.
K-9 Units, Aviation and Patrol deputies quickly established a perimeter but no suspects were located.
Detectives have determined there was more than one suspect involved.
