Naples officials looking for answers in abandoned boat mystery
NAPLES, Fla. - The city of Naples is looking at ways to remove an abandoned boat at the center of a mysterious disappearance.
The 34 foot catamaran has been the Naples city dock since June. The city hasn’t been able to track down the boat's owner, Wayne Ball.
The boat has racked up $1,500 in unpaid slip fees.
Earlier this month, the city sent a proposal to six salvage companies, offering to give one of them the boat in exchange for the slip fees.
