FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Lee County commissioner who has been pressuring county manager Karen Hawes to resign is taking a step back for now.
 
Commissioner Frank Mann says that he will not call a motion for Karen Hawes to resign at Tuesday's meeting. 
 
Hawes has been under scrutiny after it was revealed that the MedStar program left the county on the hook for $3 million dollars in unbillable services. 
 
Mann says after speaking with Hawes.  Mann will hold off on calling for her resignation for one week.
