FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Lee County commissioner who has been pressuring County Manager Karen Hawes to resign is taking a step back for now.
Commissioner Frank Mann saying today that we will not call a motion for Karen Hawes to resign at Tuesday's meeting. Hawes has been under scrutiny after it was revealed that the Medstar program left the county on the hook for 3 million dollars in ubillable services.
