FMPD operations net 6 arrests in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Special Investigations Group of the Fort Myers PD with an assist from SWAT delivered a search warrant in the 2900 block of Montclair making one arrest.
Detectives spent two months investigating a drug operation in a home there.
Police seized 3.2. grams of crack cocaine, 9.7 grams of powder cocaine, 14.4. grams of MDMA and 77 grams of marijuana.
The drugs had a estimated street value of $3,000.
Police also seized three handguns.
Police arrested 42-year-old Clinnie Taylor for possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine. Police expect to make more arrests connected to that investigation.
Police made five other arrests during a "buy bust" operation which targeted street level dealers.
Undercover officers posed a purchases of illegal drugs in various parts of the city resulting in five arrests.
Police arrested 49-year-old Eddie Jackson for sale and possession of cocaine, 30-year-old Billy Coleman for sale and possession of cocaine, 25-year-old Nicholas Campbell for sale and possession of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school, 30-year-old Kotoyia Johnson for possession of drug paraphernalia and 28-year-old Chanel Hall for sale and possession of cocaine.
