Tropical Storm Rafael forms over eastern Caribbean
Tropical Storm Rafael with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph is expected to become a hurricane later today. Rafael is located about 290 miles north of San Juan, Puerto Rico and is moving to the north-northwest at 10 mph. On the forecast track, the storm is expected to continue to the north-northwest followed by a turn to the north this evening. Rafael will remain east of the Bahamas and could approach Bermuda by late Tuesday.
