Viewers debate dogs wearing seat belts

A New Jersey lawmaker wants all dogs and cats to be restrained while riding in the car. 
 
Southwest Florida dog owners are divided on what they think about that possibility.
 
Ann from Naples: "I think it's ridiculous and I think it's another way of them trying to choke us with more laws."
 
Miley from Ft. Myers : "I think that would be a horrible idea if the dogs had to wear a seat belt because they've never done that before."
 
But Carl from the Cape says he would never bring his dog in the car unless it was safely secured.
 
Carl from Cape Coral: "We have a 50 pound golden retriever mix and she's most always in a restraint in the backseat of the car when we go anywhere. She's got a doggy-style seatbelt that she uses and I wouldn't have it any other way."
