Suspect killer of police officer captured in Cape Coral
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A suspected killer of a North Carolina police officer was captured in Cape Coral Wednesday.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit arrested 46-year-old Scott Vincent Sica in connection with the October 1996 murder of a police officer in Jonesville, North Carolina.
LCSO had been working in conjunction with Jonesville Police, North Carolina's Bureau of of Investigations and the FBI for the last several months in an effort to make an arrest.
Sica was arrested at his home at 2059 Ottersrest Lane, Cape Coral, with the assistance of the Fugitive Warrants Unit, Street Crimes Unit and the SWAT Team.
