Traffic death gets East Naples man 15 years in prison
NAPLES, Fla. - A 21-year-old East Naples man will spend 15 years in prison for a hit and run death.
Jack Edward Dyson took a plea deal on charges of manslaughter and failing to remain at a crash on Monday in order to avoid a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison.
Dyson must also spend 12 years on probation as part of the deal.
Collier County investigators say Dyson ran down 21-year-old Kyle Armantrout in a parking lot after stealing his marijuana during a drug deal. Dyson has been in jail since Armantrout's August 2009 death.
