4 arrested in Lee County crime spree
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Lee County deputies responding to a home burglary in Lehigh Acres last week spotted a fleeing vehicle with the suspects and made a traffic stop.
Deputies arrested three adults and one juvenile, three of the four were students attending RIchard Milburn Academy and were skipping class.
Detectives discovered the quartet were responsible for other burglaries. Investigators linked some of the stolen property back to items placed for sale on Craigslist. Other stolen items were sold at pawnshops.
Arrested and charged were 20-year-old Danny Cruz, 18-year-old Jessie Dampier, 18-year-old Michael Zamora and a 17-year-old juvenile. The juvenile, Dampier and Zamora all attended the school.
The four racked up 35 felony charges including burglary and grand theft.
