PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – A scam warning from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say there's an "FBI computer virus" scheme that is becoming more prevalent in southwest Florida.

They say it involves an e-mail that looks like it's from the FBI.

It tells you that your computer has been seized by the agency, and that you have to send $200 to get it unlocked.

The sheriff's office says if you get this fake FBI email, do not open it and delete it immediately.
