Body recovered in Caloosahatchee River ruled a suicide
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Deputies in Lee County say the man found floating in the Caloosahatchee River died by suicide. The sheriff's office says his body was discovered around 11am near the midpoint bridge. The 30 year old had been missing since Sunday.
The body was found floating in the Caloosahatchee River was recovered near the Midpoint Bridge on the Fort Myers side of the river.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office working with Fort Myers police recovered the body.
Lee County Public Information Officer Lt. Larry King tells FOX 4 News a bicyclist spotted the body at the base of the bridge.
