Deputies locate Port Charlotte woman unharmed
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives located the missing and endangered 58 year old woman this afternoon at McDonald’s in the Promenades Mall, 3280 Tamiami Trail, in Port Charlotte.
Detectives say Nona Lee Cortese of 137 Sinclair Street, had used a credit card to make a purchase at 11:30 a.m. at McDonalds. A short time later, CCSO was notified by Bank of America of the transaction being made.
Detectives didn’t have far to go as the CCSO District-4 Office is in the same mall and quickly responded. They positively identified Cortese as the person who was last seen by her family on Sep. 20.
