Additional charge in Peace River drowning
ARCADIA, Fla. - 28-year-old Andrew Skevington will face an additional charge in connection with the drowning death of a 17-year-old Tampa girl.
Witnesses say Jerridean Lakisha Bolds Froyer was pushed from a pedestrian bridge into the Peace River earlier this month. Her body was found just a couple of days after the incident.
Skevington was initially charged with being an accessory to manslaughter after the fact. He now faces a charge of tampering with evidence. Authorities tell FOX 4 News Skevington removed personal items belonging to Froyer from the scene.
Froyer's boyfriend, 28-year-old Mark Huntley, Jr., faces a charge of manslaughter in her death.
