Argument leads to Fort Myers shooting
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police are looking for a shooter who wounded a 33-year-old Fort Myers man early Saturday morning.
Police say that Juan Francisco Muniz and his friends arrived at a house in the 3800 block of Seminole Avenue just after 2 a.m.
Muniz was on the scene with friends and several other known acquaintances when a verbal argument start. That led to a physical altercation and then ultimately the shooting.
The suspects fled the scene.
Police are actively following leads in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call FMPD at 321-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
