12 dead in Afghan blast
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Officials now say 12 people have been killed in a suicide bombing in the Afghan capital, including eight South Africans. A car packed with explosives slammed into a mini-bus carrying foreign aviation workers to the airport in Kabul. A militant group headed by a onetime U.S. ally claims it carried out the attack to avenge an anti-Islam film that ridicules the Prophet Muhammad. It says the suicide bomber was a young woman.
