The deadline to register to vote is quickly approaching
A Baptist Church in Fort Myers is working to register people to vote
FORT MYERS- The deadline to register to vote is quickly approaching and now a local church is stepping up to try and get more voters registered.
The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and the Supervisor of Elections Office held a voter registration drive off of Palm Avenue in Fort Myers on Saturday.
The group is seeing some first time voters stop by to register.
There will be two more chances to register at the church: Saturday, September 29th and October 6th.
You can register from 9am to 1pm. The church is located at 2030 Palm Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
