School bus versus motorcycle in Collier County
NAPLES, Fla. - A Collier County school bus collided with a motorcyle near Palmetto Ridge High School this morning sending the biker to the hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Maria Fuentes was driving a school bus east on Victory Lane and made a turn into the path of a motorcycle driven by 63-year-old Robert Alder.
The motorcycle hitthe left front of the school bus and caused the biker to overturn his bike. Alder suffered serious injuries.
The school bus driver was cited was cited for failing to drive in a designated lane.
