Fort Myers police identify shooting victim
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police identified a man shot and seriously wounded Wednesday night in the 3400 block of Lantana Street.
19-year-old Damarquis Blanks is recovering from a gunshot wound at Lee Memorial Hospital.
Blanks has an arrest record involving robbery, battery and drugs.
The gunfire also hit a home and a car in the neighborhood.
Detectives are still actively looking for the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Myers Police at 321-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
