ESTERO, Fla. - An FGCU student is dead after he jumped to his death from the Coastal Village Apartments following the stabbing of one of his roommates.
Witnesses say 18-year-old Sean Cavanaugh was seen taking a drug they believe was LSD or acid and started threatening people inside his apartment.
Cavanaugh then stabbed his victim in the side with a broken bottle. After his attack, he ran out of the apartment and jumped off a third story balcony.
Cavanaugh was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital where he later died.
