Englewood boutique employee arrested for stealing cash

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Charlotte County Sheriff's detective arrested a worker at an Englewood boutique for stealing cash out of the register and multiple deposit shortages.
22-year-old Sarah Kristine Dill of Cape Haze was arrested for Grand Theft.
On Aug. 26, the manager of Beach Road Boutique at 1350 Beach Road reported she reviewed surveillance video and cash register tape records from the previous day and discovered multiple suspicious transactions by employee Dill. Further investigation by CCSO detectives found 15 thefts of cash taken by Dill between August 13 and 25 amounting to $806.
Dill was located, arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Saturday, she posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
