Fort Myers police arrest 2 in cell phone shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police two 20-year-old men in connection with a August 28th shooting that left a man with two gunshot wounds to the stomach.

The two suspects got into an argument over a missing cell phone with Troy Buettermeyer in a home in the 2300 block of Willard Street.  The argument ended with Buettermeyer shot twice in the stomach.  The wounds were not life threatening.

Police interviewed several witnesses and made two arrests.  Gregory Rawls is charged with robbery, home invasion with a firearm and aggravated battery.  Demetri Bethea is facing charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon and probation violation.
