FHP targets Alligator Alley over Labor Day weekend
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol stepped up traffic enforcement efforts over the four day Labor Day weekend on Alligator Alley (I-75). The result, troopers issued 482 traffic citations including 383 speeding tickets.
Troopers cited another seven drivers for violating Florida's move over law. They caught 13 drivers behind the wheel with a suspended license. 15 tickets for failing to buckle up were also issued.
