Lehigh man accused of assaulting police dog
LEHIGH, Fla. - A Lehigh Acres man is arrested, accused of assaulting a police dog that was chasing him.
32-year-old Warren Jackson is facing charges of resisting an officer and striking a police animal.
Police were responding to a domestic disturbance when deputies say they found a white substance in Jackson's possession and he tried to take off.
When the K-9 was sent after him he allegedly kicked and punched the dog until deputies pepper sprayed and tased him.
