MARCO ISLAND, Fla. - Marco Island police arrested 62-year-old Joyce Crain on charges of Prescription Fraud, Forgery and Identity Theft.

Crain worked as the President of a non-profit organization named Prescriptions 4 Hope, which claims to provide assistance to patients needing prescription medications and are indigent or uninsured.  Investigators say Crain also operated a business under the fictitious corporation name of Collier County Health Services.

Police say they found approximately $120,000 to $150,000 of prescription medications and other items related to prescription medications in Crain's home.  A small amount of those prescriptions were classified as a controlled substance.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional criminal charges are pending.
