Collier traffic stop leads to cocaine bust

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A routine traffic stop by Collier County deputies led to two arrests and the seizure of nearly two pounds of cocaine on Tuesday.
Deputies say Michael Williams was driving a car westbound on I-75 near mile marker 100 when he was pulled over for a traffic violation.
The 35-year-old Williams appeared extremely nervous when deputies started questioning him outside of his vehicle and at that point they asked his passenger, 35-year-old Darryl Williams to exit the car.
A search of the vehicle turned up a clear plastic bag containing 30 smaller clear plastic bags inside the trunk. Each of the smaller clear plastic bags contained a white powdery substance, which tested positive for cocaine, reports said.
The cocaine weighed approximately 852 grams and had an estimated street value of $28,000.
Both men were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine.
