FORT MYERS, Fla. - A local car dealership is writing a big check to help fight homelessness in southwest Florida.

Sam Galloway Ford donated $25,000 and a 10,000 pound truckload of food to Community Cooperative Ministries Incorporated, also known as CCMI.

CCMI provides more than 14,000 meals each month through its everyday café. It also works with the United Way to provide help to the homeless in southwest Florida.
