Price gouging complaints continue in wake of Isaac
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The state's price gouging hotline has been lighting up in the wake of Isaac.
The Florida Attorney General's office says as of today, they've had more than 540 price gouging complaints.
Many of the complaints have to do with gasoline prices. Florida bars its vendors from grossly exceeding the average price of a commodity during a state of emergency, unless the seller can justify the cost.
If you suspect price gouging, you can report it to the state's hotline at 866-966-7226.
