DEEP CREEK, Fla. - Charlotte County narcotics detectives raided a Deep Creek home Tuesday night making four arrests.

Three suspects were taken into custody for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and a fourth for Obstruction.

20-year-old Geoffrey Tanner Hall, 26-year-old Clayton Paul Harris and 46-year-old Michael Dean Merrill will all face drug related charges.  30-year-old Jessica Leigh Bair was arrested for Obstruction.  

Acting on intelligence information, Narcotics detectives obtained a search warrant, and with assistance from road patrol deputies, entered the home shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday. Once the home was secured, Hall, Harris and Merrell were removed and detectives began their search. Located in a container was 30.5 grams of Methamphetamine, a plastic baggie with 6.1 grams of marijuana, a pill bottle with 17 Hydrocodone pills, two 30.06 12-guage rounds of ammunition, and an eyeglass case with $1,623 cash.

While detectives were interviewing the three men outside, a vehicle with two women pulled up to the home. The women got out, were told what was happening, and to leave. Bair began to shout obscenities at detectives and obstructed the search warrant investigation and would not leave after being told to do so.

All four were arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Hall, Harris and Merrell were each charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Hydrocodone, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Harris was additionally charged with Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon. Bair was charged with Obstruction of Justice; she posted a $1,000 bond and was released.
