3rd suspect arrested in connection with Port Charlotte drug house raid
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County Narcotics deputies arrested a third suspect in connection with a Wednesday raid on a reported drug house by the SWAT team in Port Charlotte.
29-year-old Kimberly Ann Martin is charged with possession of prescription drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Martin's boyfriend, 40-year-old Shane Marcus Poling was arrested at the time of the rain along with a housemate 42-year-old John Duncan McNamara.
A previous undercover drug buy from Poling on Aug. 6 by Narcotics detectives led to obtaining a search warrant for the home at 18227 Ackerman Avenue and arresting Poling and McNamara. Martin was not home at the time of the drug raid but detectives did open a safe in Poling and Martin’s bedroom and located numerous narcotics.
Martin posted a $9,500 bond and was released; Poling and McNamara also posted bond and were released.
