Clothing flap leads to kidnapping arrests in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Two women face charges of kidnapping an East Naples old woman in a search for clothing they claimed was stolen.
Deputies say Elizabeth Ewell and Melissa Batsel took 24-year-old Kayla Vaske, pushed her onto a bed, and bound her hands and feet with electrical tape. They took Vaske back to her home where they searched her closets.
When Vaske's roommate became suspicious, she threatened to call police. Ewell and Batsel grabbed clothing from Vaske's closet and left the residence.
Deputies took pictures of Vaske's injuries stemming from the incident which occurred on August 16th.
Along with the kidnapping charge Ewell and Batsel face charges of battery and petty theft.
