Tips on how to pay for college
WFTX - College students are headed back to class next week, and parents know it's going to be tough paying for tuition. Here some ways to help fill that gap.
First: try tuition installment plans. Some 90% of colleges offer these plans, which allow families to spread tuition payments over nine to 12 months.
Try zero interest loan from the college.
You can head to credit cards... but make sure you are use one that has a 0% promotional interest rate.
Or find an alternative loan source. Interest rates are often lower.. and some offer income-based repayment plans.
