Charlotte County man gets ring back 2 years after it was stolen
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A Charlotte County man, whose $5,500 ring was stolen two years ago, is now getting it back.
Authorities say 45 year-old Pete Patterson stole the ring while the victim was in the hospital. Pete had his daughter, Beth Patterson, pawn it for cash.
The two were caught after the victim's daughter spotted the ring, by chance, in a pawn shop.
