North Fort Myers Habitat for Humanity store burglarized
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a break-in at the Habitat for Humanity store in North Fort Myers on Tuesday.
A store employee arrived at the facility in the morning to open for business when she noticed that someone had pried open the door to the manager's office.
The office was ransacked and a key to the safe was located. The safe was opened and its contents were emptied. More than $100 was taken.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (239) 477-1000.
