Charlotte County man arrested for stealing airplane parts
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A Charlotte County man is facing felony charges for stealing thousands of dollars in airplane parts for the second time.
Deputies say earlier this month, 31 year-old Joshua Crider, was pulled over carrying more than $5,000 in stolen plane parts, taken from shell creek airport. The owner decided not to pursue charges.
But deputies say they recently discovered that he had also taken $6,000 in parts on a separate occasion. That's when the owner decided to file charges. Crider is in jail without bond.
