PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A traffic stop for tinted windows led to the arrest of a Port Charlotte man for drug trafficking in Percocet.

A Charlotte County Sheriff's deputy noticed 39-year-old Jason Middlebrooks driving an Acura on O'Hara Drive with very dark tinted windows.  The deputy pulled the vehicle over and noticed Middlebrooks appeared very nervous, sweating and shaking heavily.

Middlebrooks gave the deputy consent to search his car and a hat found wedged between the window and dash contained 27 Percocet pills in a plastic baggie.

Middlebrooks was transported to the Charlotte County Jail on charges of Trafficking in Percocet, Possession with Intent to Distribute Percocet, Possession of Percocet and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He posted a $32,500 bond and was released.
