MIAMI - Miami dolphins release six-time pro bowl receiver Chad Johnson after he was arrested for allegedly head-butting new wife.
Johnson is out of jail on $2,500 bond- after being accused of domestic violence.
According to the arrest report ,the couple got into a heated argument after his wife Evelyn Lozada reportedly found a receipt with a charge for a box of condoms.
A police officer arrived on scene and found Johnson's wife with a large gash on the center of her forehead.
Davie County Police Captain Dale Engle said, "He was using explicative to describe what he felt that he didn't care, he didn't care about his career, obviously he understood the impact that his actions would cause on his career. and he just didn't care.
Following the incident a judge has ordered Johnson to cut contact with his wife.
