Funeral for Charlotte County firefighter this weekend
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Funeral services are planned this weekend for a Charlotte County firefighter who was killed during a robbery this week.
39 year-old Sam Dreher will be laid to rest Saturday at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda.
Dreher, an 8 year veteran of Charlotte County Fire & EMS, was fatally shot last weekend in Sarasota County.
The boyfriend of Dreher's estranged wife is in jail, charged with the killing.
